We started thinking about our particular renovation five years prior when we realized the home we bought wasn’t working for us. We looked at new homes but didn’t want to move further outside the city, have a longer commute to work, smaller yard and basically start over in a new community. The next option was to upgrade what we had into something that better suited our needs. We had an idea of what we wanted, but each company we went to simply could not see our vision. Then we met Adam.
Adam came to our home to see things first hand. His initial step was to find out what didn’t work in our current layout. The next step was to listen to what we envisioned with a new layout. He then took that a step further by suggesting additional [small] details we hadn’t thought of. It was those [small] details that made all the difference to make our dream even better. He saw the big picture, not just the initial project. It wasn’t until we got into the actual construction where we really appreciated his talent. I think what quickly came to light was his attention to detail, being respectful of our schedules, and being a man of his word by taking pride in his work ensuring everything was PERFECT. Not only is he a great craftsman and visionary, he also stayed on budget and on time.
If you are thinking of doing a custom project on any scale, I highly recommend Adam and his crew as true craftsman who can think outside the box by looking at the project as a whole, not just “another job”.
